The Bee-Line 3/8" (10mm) single eye stitched split tail offers the user the ability to make a Blake's or Tautline hitch onto their climbing line for ascending and for maneuvering around the tree. The two inch stitched pattern creating the eye is covered with heat shrink tubing for longer wear. The stitched eye is tested to meet a minimum 5,000 lbs. tensile pull. IMPORTANT: all split tail knots shall have a stopper knot and must be set before using.

The Bee-Line 3/8" (10mm) eye to eye stitched tail allows the user to create a closed friction hitch such as the Schwabisch prusik or the Distel. There are other hitches too; all require the user to practice tying and use prior to working at heights. The two inch stitched pattern creating the eyes are covered with heat shrink tubing for longer wear. The stitched eyes are tested to meet a minimum 5,000 lbs. tensile pull.
